Maybe of Some Interest…

It is an account of a game held in London on the attempted destabilisation of Finland. Interesting and scary.

This is a link, found in the above story, to a paper on the history of wargaming, perhaps more aimed at ‘serious wargaming’, that is trying to persuade movers, shakers and their minions that Armageddon might be a bad idea.

    Interesting article. Interesting the way that not only the players but the journalist also gets sucked into it after being very dismissive.
    Light on detail about how they destabilised Finland. Probably one of the most prepared states in all senses.

      I have seen such things happen with other sorts of groups, so it is not much of a surprise. How destabilise Finland? I'm not sure. From the few Finns I have known, banning skiing might be the best bet.
